About me
Matthew Wiley is the State Director for the Florida Department of Education’s (FDOE) Title I, Part A (TIPA) program. After teaching both middle and high school English-Language Arts in Title I schools, he joined the Title I, Part A program team at FDOE in 2018. Matthew is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. His passion for serving youth stretches beyond his job as the Title I Director, as he serves as the President of a local youth recreational sports organization and serves as the youth pastor at his church. Interestingly, Matthew’s wife is a teacher at the local Title I school where he attended elementary school, and where his daughter now goes for Pre-K.
